Amelia Knight is the company behind the 2 consumer facing brands Soak Sunday and Scientia Beauty. It is a micro-business that is making a lot of right decisions from the outset. The majority of packaging is glass & aluminium though they still use some single use plastics but it is reduced. It’s certified cruelty free and vegan and donates to conservation projects on the Soak Sunday website only (so Eve would like to see that implemented upon both).

Soak Sunday’s packaging makes the brand feel super luxurious in line with its price. At checkout, there is the option to make a donation towards climate projects through CarbonClick which is a great way for a micro-business to start its carbon & charity journey. Eve would like to see Soak Sunday check its supply chain & ditch the last bits of single-use plastic to gain the final 2 leaves.

Scientia Beauty is a skincare brand that focuses on natural ingredients & where they come from. Eve loves that they support the farmers and communities which produce & harvest the ingredients. Eve would like to see Scientia Beauty ditch the last bits of single-use plastic to gain the waste leaf & to implement the same options for carbon offsetting at the till for Scientia customers.
